Wooden frames are available in dark walnut, white, or black. Framed pieces come floated on a single off-white mat. Frames come with a clear, shatter-proof, frame-grade alternative to glass, similar to plexiglass. Backing and hanging hardware are also included with a frame. The framed pieces have approximate dimensions of 11.5” x 15.5”.
About this piece:
This is a reproduction print from a series of oracle imagery by Erika Karl. The original artwork for this piece was created with homemade black walnut ink on cold-press watercolor paper. Erika makes her own inks from ingredients found in her environment or with specific ingredients she seeks from other makers. Walnut ink gives a warmer tone than black inks.
Magnetism:
Positive and negative behaviors & emotions. Attraction to the opposite and repulsion of the same. What are you aligned with and what do you stand against? Think of a compass, always aligned with the Earth's magnetic poles. In reality, your compass is not actually pointing north. The poles are not a static geographic location. They drift and sometimes flip direction. If your current direction is becoming uncomfortable, maybe even unbearable, then flip flopping may not be unheard of. Adjustment and fluidity may be required to come into alignment.
